LEARN MOREPlease be on alert for fraudulent phone calls from individuals posing as utility representatives.
We have learned about calls being made by individuals purporting to be from local utility companies. The calls claim to be about billing issues, such as your account being past due or that you must pay outstanding charges immediately over the phone.
If in doubt about a call, DO NOT provide any personal information over the phone. Instead, call our Customer Service Department at 800-842-5690 and report the call.
Our Customer Service Department will be able to verify your utility account number and will never insist that you use a prepaid debit card to make a payment. We send notices before disconnecting gas service, and send disconnection notices by U.S. mail. Summit personnel in the field can be recognized by their company vehicle, uniforms and identification badge when coming to your home for various reasons or to disconnect gas service for nonpayment.
At AOG, your safety and security are our top priority and we want to help you stay vigilant against scams.
