Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Investing to Improve Customer Experience

Fort Smith, Arkansas –Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Corporation (AOG) is making significant upgrades to its billing and online payment platforms to enhance the customer experience. Effective July 1, customers will enjoy a redesigned natural gas bill, updated company website, new Customer Information System, and an easier to use customer account portal and payment processor. As part of the company’s commitment to provide better service each day, the newly designed interface is simple and intuitive, giving customers access to real-time data, payment options and account history, all from the convenience of their computer or mobile device.

“At AOG, customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities,” said Fred Kirkwood, AOG Senior Vice President, Customer Development. “By investing in improved technologies, we can better meet our customers’ needs, make online payments easier and provide customers greater transparency into their natural gas use and billing.”

Because of these upgrades, customers’ account numbers will change on their July bills. As a result, beginning July 1, customers need to use their new 7-digit account number when making online payments. For those that use Auto-Pay or Pay by Mail, the transition will be seamless. For those that pay online, by phone, direct through their bank, at a walk-in payment agency or at the AOG kiosk, they must update their account number and payment method.
